OXYGEN FIRST AID FOR
SCUBA DIVING INJURIES
The
course is designed to train and educate the general
diving public in the techniques of using oxygen as first
aid for a suspected dive injury. In addition, this
course will introduce novice divers to the fundamentals
of recognizing diving injury warning signs, response and
management. This program also provides an excellent
opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to
continue their education.
Course is one
four hour classroom session consisting of one hour of
lecture and three hours of skills practice.
Participants successfully
completing this course will receive both a Divers Alert
Network (DAN) and
a PADI certification.

instruction by a certified PADI and DAN Instructor.
- PADI and DAN Certification cards
and certificate upon successful completion of
coursework and exercises.
Your Responsibilities:
- Purchase a
Participant Manual and a non-rebreather mask.
- Prior to coming
to the class you must read all of the course
materials and complete all knowledge reviews.
