CERTIFICATION COURSE
Achieving your Divemaster
certification, makes you a true dive professional.
This course enhances your dive knowledge and polishes
your diving skills. PADI Divemaster training also
develops your leadership abilities by training you to
supervise dive activities and assist instructors with
student divers.
PADI Divemasters can:
- Work at local dive
centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at
exotic resort locations
- Assist PADI
Instructors with students
- Lead PADI Scuba Divers
on guided dive tours
- Teach and certify PADI
Skin Divers
- Teach PADI Discover
Snorkeling programs
- Conduct PADI Scuba
Review programs for certified divers
- Lead certified divers
on Discover Local Diving experiences
- Teach Emergency First
Response programs after successful completion of an
Emergency First Response Instructor course
In this course you will:
Prerequisites:
- PADI Advanced Open
Water Diver or qualifying certification from another
training organization
- PADI Rescue Diver
certification or qualifying certification from
another training organization
- Medical clearance
signed by a physician
- 20 logged dives
Minimum Age: 18
years old
Class Size:
Limited to 8 students

Course Includes:
- Personalized
instruction by a certified PADI Instructor.
- Laminated PADI
Certification card upon successful completion of
coursework and open water exercises.
- Weights and tanks are
provided at no additional cost.
- For your safety, all
Sand-n-Sea staff members are certified PADI
professionals with current training in CPR and First
Aid.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide or
purchase scuba mask, fins, snorkel, and dive
boots.
- Provide or rent
BCD, wetsuit, regulator, octopus, compass and
gauges.
- Purchase course
materials: Divemaster
Training Package, Divemaster
Video, Encyclopedia
of Recreational Diving, Diving
Knowledge Workbook, PADI
Instructor Manual (optional)
- You may need to
provide or purchase a hood and gloves for the
Divemaster Diver dives according to local
weather conditions.
- Prior to coming
to the class you must read all of the course
materials and complete all knowledge reviews.
- Provide entry
fee for dive sites and any necessary air
fills. Entry Fees: Circleville
$10/day, Gilboa $12/day. Air Fills:
approximately $7/fill.
- Bring your Open
Water Certification card or most recent
certification card and log book to the dive
site.
