WATER CERTIFICATION COURSE
Become more comfortable in the water, increase your
experience level, and learn to be a better diver.
By going beyond Open Water Diver, you will:

skills specific to your interests

and around the water

your dive skills
- Better understand the
aquatic world
- Dive more challenging
sites where only divers with advanced training are
allowed
This course includes two
required dives and three adventure dives of your
choosing. Course work and home study prepare you
for the next step in your diving adventure.

Prerequisite:
PADI Open Water Diver Certification (or qualifying
certification from another organization)
If
you are currently under the care of a medical doctor or
have a pre-existing condition that requires permission
from a physician, you will need to have a medical
release prior to any in-water activities. PADI
Medical Release Form.
Minimum Age: 15
(12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
Class Size:
Limited to 8 students
Course Includes:
- Personalized
instruction by a certified PADI Instructor &
Divemaster.
- Laminated PADI
Certification card upon successful completion of
coursework and all five training dives.
- Weights and tanks are
provided at no additional cost.
- For your safety, all
Sand-n-Sea staff members are certified PADI
professionals with current training in CPR and First
Aid.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide or
purchase scuba mask, fins, snorkel, and dive
boots.
- Provide or rent
BCD, wetsuit, regulator, octopus, compass and
gauges.
- Purchase a PADI
Adventures in Diving Crew Pack and Adventures
in Diving Video.
- You will need to
purchase or provide any necessary items for
the specialty dives you select.
- You may need to
provide or purchase a hood and gloves for the
Advanced Open Water dives according to local
weather conditions.
- Prior to coming
to the class you must read all of the course
materials and complete all knowledge reviews.
- Provide entry
fee for dive sites and any necessary air
fills. Entry Fees: Circleville
$10/day, Gilboa $12/day. Air Fills:
approximately $7/fill.
- Bring your Open
Water Certification card and log book to the
dive site.
